PLANNING YOUR WILDLIFE SAFARI!

Posted by on 03rd October, 2016.

We know your safari is a happy result of a lot of preparing and planning ( maybe for weeks and months ) and perhaps driven by a lot more than just your wish to see a tiger. You may want your family to relax and rejuvenate, give your kids the chance to breathe in the wild air or experience the wilderness and sunset with your friends. The visions of the tiger, the magnificent leopard and the trees are parts of a greater goal: that of a lifetime experience. Before you embark on the safari of a lifetime, remembering these few things will enrich your experience and help you have more fun!

The animals there aren’t tame / almost human:

The point of a tiger safari or a nature safari is to view wildlife and tigers as they naturally are. The reserve does not train them to meet human beings, so make sure you know you are going to see some beautiful animals at their best. When they are being themselves.

Don’t have a ‘Wildlife Bucket List:

If you’re busy ticking off animals you have seen, or even mentally thinking about the animals you simply ‘have’ to see in order to complete your safari experience, you are missing the point of the safari. Having fun. The reserve is not a home you’re visiting – it is a living space with thousands of micro organisms and insects essential to the survival of life as we know it.

Concentrate on necessities: The fact that you’re going on a safari probably implies that you’re not out for indoor luxury, but you’re game for the fun luxuries of a nature reserve. Therefore, always remember to travel very light. It will allow you to breathe free and not worry about belongings while watching the deer gambol. Win-win!

Always listen to your guide:

In other words, he is your best friend because of his wisdom and experience. If he asks you not to do something, do not attempt it. With your support and co-operation, the guide can give you a fascinating experience. It is best to let the guide make the decisions about the do’s and don’ts.

You will be changed:

Every nature safari has the potential to completely change a human being by bringing him into greater touch with the world. Our modern life isolates us from our true beginnings. There is no better way of rediscovering your roots than going on a wildlife safari and simply having the time of your life!
